Why do Ghost and Executioner look alike? They intentionally share the same rugged enclosure. Their assigned role in the FrightMaps app tells you whether that unit senses a guest or triggers a prop.

FrightLink uses its own dedicated wireless mesh between the Hub, sensors, and Executioners β€” built for low latency and reliability in noisy haunt environments. Bluetooth is only used briefly during initial Hub setup with the FrightMaps app.
Yes. If your prop has a try-me button or 3.5mm step-pad input, an Executioner can connect it to the Hub. When Ghost reports visitor movement, the Hub runs the assigned scene and sends that Executioner its scheduled output cue. No replacing your prop or its built-in program.
Choose Wired Starter for nearby wired props. Choose Automatic Scene Kit when you want a motion sensor to begin one complete scene. Choose Wireless Prop Kit when that scene includes a prop too far from the Hub for a cable. Whole Yard Kit starts with three sensor zones and three wireless prop outputs.
No. The core path β€” visitor movement β†’ Ghost event β†’ Hub scene logic β†’ wired output or Executioner β€” works locally without internet or a phone standing by. Remote status, backups, updates, and off-property test tools require Hub WiFi.
Up to 600 ft line of sight between the Hub and any device under ideal conditions, with mesh hops extending coverage further. Typical real-world range is 100-300 ft depending on walls, fences, and metal between devices. For whole-yard haunts we recommend placing the Hub centrally.
Yes. Assign each Ghost to a separate Hub scene: movement at Sensor A can run Scene A while movement at Sensor B runs Scene B, even in the same room. Sensors report events to the Hub; they do not directly activate every nearby prop or communicate with Executioners themselves.
Your hardware keeps working locally. Ghost events, Hub scene logic, and scheduled outputs continue running. Remote status, off-property testing, and cloud backup pause until you resume.
Sensors and Executioners run on a 3000mAh LiPo. In typical Halloween-night use (deep sleep between triggers) you'll get a full evening on a single charge, with battery life depending on trigger frequency and sensor type. We recommend topping off the day of.
Yes, FrightLink is designed for sheltered outdoor haunt setups. The hardware uses IP-rated components, conformal-coated PCBs, and gasketed enclosures to help resist moisture. The assembled devices are weather-resistant, not waterproof, so place them under a porch, overhang, or weather cover. Do not leave them in direct rain or submerge them.
FrightLink hardware may be returned within 14 calendar days after delivery. Contact sales@frightlink.com before sending anything back. Standard returns must be complete and undamaged; the customer pays return shipping and original shipping is non-refundable. If an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 14 days and FrightLink will cover return or replacement shipping. Read the full policy.
